Practising Yoga



Wanting to try yoga but not sure where to start? This 4 week online workshop will introduce you to yoga from the comfort of your home.  Class meets every Tuesday at 7:30pm in March.
We will explore the practice of yoga and common yoga poses (asanas). Everyone and everyBODY can practice yoga. Live instruction and demonstration with the opportunity to ask questions.
You don't need anything special to participate, only a quiet space with room to move. Yoga mats are helpful but not required.



I am a 500 hour RYT yoga teacher with additional certifications in restorative and chair yoga. I also am a Yoga teacher trainer. 

I was born and raised in Texas and currently reside in Delaware. Married and mom to two amazing children and two yorkie fur-babies. I am an outdoor adventure seeker and most days you can find me on, in, or near the water.

I want to share the practice of yoga with everyone. It does not matter how old you are, how limited your mobility may be, how "inflexible" you feel that you are, or if you don't have the fancy yoga clothes or mat - Yoga is for EVERYONE! This is a safe space for everyone to share and practice together. 




Child's Pose

Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During the long holds of this practice your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It's a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body. All postures are done on the floor and are held for longer durations with an emphasis on support and comfort. Relaxing breath techniques are added for total relaxation. We will use bolsters, blankets, and blocks to prop in the passive poses.


Practising Yoga at Home

Slow Flow Yoga is a slower pace class, mindfully moving and breathing while holding poses longer.  You will explore your edge, yet still feel a relaxed and renewed experience.  We will use yoga blocks, bolsters and yoga straps.

  • Class will open 15 minutes prior to the start of class.

  • Class space will remain open for 15 minutes after class for questions .

  • I recommend that you have a yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, a yoga strap, bolster, and blanket available for use during class.
